As a freight broker/sales manager, you are responsible for a variety of job functions, including the non-asset brokering of FTL and Intermodal in the United States and potentially cross-border. You’ll need to generate new and repeat business of at least $1 million yearly with a 15 percent margin.
World-class customer service is a key job duty, including the management of your customer’s day-to-day shipping needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate needs to successfully cultivate carrier relationships and possess a loyal company base.
Collaboration with your own manager in addition to other team members is another important function.
The job requirements for this position include at least three years experience in non-asset trucking brokerage (including the generation of at least $150,000 of business profit), as well as a similar level of experience serving as a dispatcher and customer point-of-contact.
