Full Truckload Carrier Sales Manager

This full truckload carrier sales manager will be developing a new team and growing the 3PL division of a large global transportation company. Sourcing carriers to fill truckload orders, this job also will be looking to boost gross profit margins via negotiations with carriers. A full truckload manager is responsible for all assigned loads and updating the transportation management system (TMS) with regular check calls. This position also involves setting up pick-up and delivery appointments; as well as working with carriers and personnel at shipping locations.

The job requires experience with a 3PL operation, particularly TL carriers and all transportation modes. A working knowledge of logistics concepts like PCM and rate fluctuations is very valuable in this position.

This position does not require a degree and can lead to all kinds of advancement and growth opportunities.

3PL Sales Professional

The right candidate for this third-party logistics (3PL) sales professional position will have a proven track record of generating six-figures in profit in a non-asset trucking brokerage.

The third-party logistics (3PL) sales professional is responsible for acquiring and growing sales for full-truckload (FTL), less than truckload and Intermodal freight. This person is responsible for locating, screening and securing new sales clients, as well as retaining clients to achieve revenue and profit objectives.

To apply for a 3PL Sales Professional job, you should have at least 5 years of experience in non-asset trucking brokerage. The ideal candidate for a 3PL Sales job is highly self-motivated, has excellent communication skills and has strong time management abilities.

This position does include the option to work from home!

Inside Sales Rep

For those who want a lucrative sales position, but don’t like the travel that is typically associated with the job, an inside sales rep job is a fantastic option. In the supply chain industry, this job typically requires selling transportation solutions to various businesses.

There is no degree requirement for an inside sales job, but to work in the transportation industry, experience within that industry is preferred. The ideal applicant for this job is upbeat, adept at handling rejection, self-motivated, and good on the phone. This person should also have good persuasive skills, creative skills, the ability to negotiate effectively and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
